Netflix posted a new trailer for the second half of "Stranger Things" Season 4. The clip teases the possibility of casualties among the major characters, with the evil Vecna darkly informing Eleven "your friends have lost." More: Two more episodes -- running around 4 hours in total length -- remain in Season 4; they hit Netflix on July 1. "Stranger Things" has already been renewed for a fifth and final season, which apparently will take place after a significant time jump.  In a recent interview with The Guardian, Season 4 breakout star Joseph Quinn (who plays Eddie Munson) described the final two episodes as "just carnage." Taylor Sheridan The next "Yellowstone" prequel series from creator Taylor Sheridan has been renamed "1923." The show was greenlit under the title "1932"; the series will now take place nine years earlier. More: "1923" will follow members of the Dutton Family as they struggle to survive a historic drought, a surge in cattle theft, and the chaos brought on by Prohibition. The series will also touch on the impact of World War I (which ended in 1918) and the Great Depression in Montana. Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford co-star in the series. The previous "Yellowstone" prequel," 1883," starred Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott; Sheridan is planning another series in the same franchise, "1883: The Bass Reeves Story," to star David Oyelowo as the iconic lawman. According to CNBC, Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos has been discussing potential ad partnerships with executives from Google, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Roku. Sarandos is currently attending the Cannes Lions festival -- an annual gathering for the advertising and creative marketing industry -- in France. More: Sarandos has been named "Entertainment Person of the Year" at this year's Cannes Lions, and will give a talk at the event on Thursday. The Information first reported on Sarandos' discussions with Comcast and Roku; sources then told CNBC about the Google conversations. In a statement, Netflix responded: "We are still in the early days of deciding how to launch a lower-priced, ad-supported option and no decisions have been made." The streamer apparently hopes to secure ad collaborators over the next few months, before hiring a senior executive and assembling a team. CNBC

IGN published the first images of orcs from Amazon's upcoming "Lord of the Rings" series, "The Rings of Power." The show is set during the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events of the books and films "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings." More: During the Second Age, orcs are few in number, scattered throughout the world, and struggling to survive. IGN also spoke with executive producer Lindsey Weber and prosthetic department chief Jamie Wilson about creating the looks of the orcs; Wilson has been a part of every live-action "Lord of the Rings" project to date. Orc faces are made using what's known as "encapsulated silicon," which captures movements in actors' faces realistically, with less preparation time. "The Rings of Power" debuts on Prime Video on September 2. IGN

"FLY" The TV adaptation of the cult classic YouTube puppet series "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" debuts in September on Channel 4 in the UK. The series was first announced in 2018, while a pilot episode was streamed at the Indie Sundance festival in 2019. More: The original "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" consists of six surreal videos with a combined 216 million YouTube views. The videos begin as parodies of educational children's programming before descending into psychedelic horror. In September 2021, series co-creator Rebecca Sloan announced on Instagram that filming had wrapped on the new series. On Sunday, the creators posted a brief teaser -- titled "Fly" -- to the show's YouTube channel. MASHABLE

According to HBO, "Father of the Bride" had the most-viewed first weekend of any original film made specifically for the HBO Max service. It was the streamer's #1 title around the world in its first four days, which coincided in the US with the Father's Day weekend. More: Gloria Estefan and Andy Garcia co-star in the film, a Cuban-American themed remake of a classic '30s novel that previously inspired two earlier film series. The film proved most popular in the US and Mexico; it's part of a overall push by HBO Max further into the Latin American market. Screenwriter Matt Lopez is also working on the hotly-anticipated "Training Day" prequel, set during the 1992 LA Riots. DEADLINE
