$750 Trillion   That's the amount of money that travels via ACH and wire payments every year, according to the Federal Reserve. If you're like most businesses, most of the money you move — from payroll and expenses to rent and health insurance — ends up in that bucket.   Moving money at scale isn't easy. Bad process, software, or luck can lead to costly errors, and worse, distract from a business's core priorities. That's a full work day, each week. It's no surprise that 86% of finance leaders are prioritizing improvements to their payment operations.   Time spent on payment operations includes everything tied to initiating, approving, tracking, and reconciling payments. It requires time from Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams that could otherwise focus more on revenue, growth, and delivering value to customers.   To uncover the true state of payment operations, Modern Treasury partnered with the Harris Poll and surveyed 300 of today's finance leaders. The result is a first-of-its-kind report that uncovers never-before-seen data on the current state of payment operations.
