Paramount+ and Showtime subscriptions will now be available as a single bundle. Paramount+ With Showtime will cost $11.99 per month with ads, or $14.99 per month for an ad-free experience. More: Through an introductory offer, available through October 2, both new and existing subscribers can sign up for the bundle at a reduced cost of $7.99/month with ads or $12.99/month without them. Disney+ is already available in a bundle with ESPN+ and Hulu; a joint HBO Max and Discovery+ service will also likely become available soon. Paramount+ hit 43.3 million overall streaming subscribers in June, and now draws the majority of Paramount Global's total 64 million worldwide subscribers. DEADLINE

Two senior ad executives left Snap Inc. to work for Netflix's new team. Snap's chief business officer Jeremi Gorman and vice president of sales Peter Naylor will move over to Netflix and begin reaching out to top advertisers. More: Gorman joined Snap from Amazon in 2018; Naylor has experience selling digital ads for both NBCUniversal and Hulu. Both executives are exiting a struggling Snap Inc., which announced plans to cut 20% of its staff this week. Many of the major streaming services will begin experimenting with ad-supported tiers, if they have not already started; Disney+'s lower-cost ad-supported plan will launch in just a few weeks. Netflix will team with Microsoft on its ad sales system. VARIETY

DAILY CALENDAR WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31 AMERICA'S NATIONAL PARKS: Nature docuseries from National Geographic surveying the landscapes and wildlife of America's national parks. The series debuts throughout this week on the National Geographic channel; all five episodes hit Disney+ today. [Disney+] SECRETS OF THE ZOO: DOWN UNDER: The Nat Geo Wild reality series takes viewers behind-the-scenes with the staff of the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. Naomi Watts narrates. [Discovery+] NO RECIPE ROAD TRIP WITH THE TRY GUYS: Humorous food and travel docuseries in which the familiar YouTube crew -- including Ned Fulmer, Keith Habersberger, Zack Kornfield, and Eugene Lee Yang -- visit restaurants across the US and attempt to recreate their signature dishes without consulting any recipes or instructions. [Discovery+] THE CROODS: FAMILY TREE: The animated series -- a spinoff of the DreamWorks film franchise -- follows the prehistoric Crood and Betterman families and they learn to live together in the same treehouse. Season 4 arrives today on both Hulu and Peacock. [Hulu and Peacock] I CAME BY: Thriller film from the UK starring George MacKay as a graffiti artist who specifically targets the homes of wealthy people, and ends up learning a shocking secret that puts him and his loved ones in danger. Kelly Macdonald and Hugh Bonneville co-star; Babak Anvari ("Under the Shadow") co-wrote and directed. [Netflix] CLUB AMÉRICA VS. CLUB AMÉRICA: Six-part Spanish-language docuseries chronicling the history of the controversial Mexican soccer team, which is owned by the media company Televisa, from the perspectives of both players and fans. [Netflix] FAMILY SECRETS (GRY RODZINNE): Debut comedy series from Poland, in which a couple uncovers a number of secrets and lies connecting their two families during an increasingly chaotic wedding day. [Netflix]

Paige, Gordon-Levitt, Murphy Netflix's "Beverly Hills Cop" sequel is moving forward with a new title: "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley." Eddie Murphy will reprise the role of Foley in the new film; actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Taylor Paige have joined the cast. More: Production on the sequel is currently underway with first-time filmmaker Mark Molloy directing. The film was originally in development at Paramount before jumping over to Netflix in 2019. The original 1984 "Beverly Hills Cop" starred Murphy as Detroit police officer Axel Foley, who travels to Los Angeles to investigate his friend's murder. This will be the fourth film in the "Beverly Hills Cop" franchise, following two sequels, released in 1987 and 1994. DEADLINE

Ben Kingsley will once again reprise his Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) role as Shakespearean actor Trevor Slattery in the upcoming Disney+ series "Wonder Man." Kingsley first appeared as Slattery in the film "Iron Man 3," and later reprised the role in "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" and the Marvel Studios short "All Hail the King." More: "Shang-Chi" director Destin Daniel Cretton co-created "Wonder Man" and will executive produce the series. In Marvel Comics, "Wonder Man" (aka Simon Williams) is a rival of Tony Stark's who agrees to serve as a test subject for Baron Zemo and ultimately gets superpowers following exposure to an "ionic ray." Few details have been released about the series, but it's believed Williams will now be a stuntman working on Hollywood films. VARIETY

Netflix dropped a trailer for "Thai Cave Rescue," the streamer's six-part scripted series about the infamous 2018 incident in northern Thailand. The miniseries was shot entirely on location in the actual Tham Luang Nang Non cave system where the original rescue took place. More: The series arrives on September 22. Michael Russell Gunn ("Black Sails") and Dana Ledoux Miller ("Kevin Can F**k Himself") co-created the series and wrote the scripts together. "Crazy Rich Asians" filmmaker Jon M. Chu and Thai director Nattawut "Baz" Poonpiriya signed on as producers in 2019. A number of scripted and documentary projects about the rescue operation have already been released, including 2019's "The Cave," the Oscar-nominated 2021 documentary "The Rescue," and Ron Howard's film version, "Thirteen Lives." "Thirteen Lives" -- which focuses on the British and Australian cave divers who participated in the rescue effort -- is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. EW

Several people interviewed for the John McAfee Netflix documentary "Running with the Devil" told MarketWatch that their comments were taken out of context in the film. The documentary investigates allegations that the notorious tech mogul and fugitive did not die of suicide in a Spanish prison, as was widely reported last summer. More: McAfee's former girlfriend Samatha Herrera appears in the film and discusses a phone call she received following McAfee's death; though she now claims to not know the caller's identity, in "Running with the Devil," she appears to confirm that it was McAfee himself. Herrera also claims that she asked the filmmakers to obscure her face in the footage, and that she's receiving harassment on social media following its release on Netflix. Alex Cody Foster, author of an upcoming book on McAfee, also appears in the film, and speculates that the decision to cut the footage down from a miniseries into a single documentary feature required the filmmakers to trim a lot of key context from the interview segments. Former Vice editor-in-chief Rocco Castoro claims "Running with the Devil" makes unauthorized use of footage that he shot with McAfee in Belize in 2012; Castoro told MarketWatch that he is considering a lawsuit against the film's producers. Hulu announced the animated comedy "The Paloni Show! Halloween Special!" from "Rick & Morty" creator and star Justin Roiland. The cartoon special is based on an original pilot presentation Roiland made for Fox in 2009. More: The special features members of the Paloni family introducing a collection of spooky Halloween shorts from a variety of animators. Roiland, Zach Hadel ("Smiling Friends") and Pamela Adlon ("Better Things") will voice the Paloni siblings. The original pitch apparently featured the Palonis hosting a variety show from their living room couch. The special hits Hulu on October 17. DEADLINE

Actor Daniel Stern will join the cast of the Apple TV+ alternate history series "For All Mankind" as a series regular in Season 4. Stern will play former auto industry CEO and new NASA administrator Eli Hobson. More: The series follows the development of the US space program in a world in which the Soviet Union beat America to the moon in the 1960s. In the 1990s, Stern served as the narrator on TV's "The Wonder Years," and starred in the mega-hit films "City Slickers" and "Home Alone." More recently, he has appeared on Hulu's "Shrill," WGN America's "Manhattan," and Showtime's "House of Lies." "For All Mankind" stars Joel Kinnaman, Shantel Van Santen, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, and Krys Marshall are all expected to return for Season 4. VARIETY

ABC's "The Goldbergs" will deal with the departure of actor Jeff Garlin by killing off his character, patriarch Murray Goldberg, between seasons; the new Season 10 will open with Murray having been dead for months, and his family moving on with their lives. "The Pale Blue Eye" -- the third collaboration between actor Christian Bale and writer/director Scott Cooper (after "Out of the Furnace" and "Hostiles") -- comes to Netflix on January 6 following an award-qualifying theatrical run. Netflix dropped an "NSFW" trailer for the upcoming anime series "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners"; the series was inspired by the video game "Cyberpunk 2077" and comes from "Promare" vets Studio Trigger.
