An update to Production Weekly indicates that Disney may be developing a revival of the MCU Netflix series "Daredevil." A show simply referred to as "Daredevil Reboot" has joined the publication's list of projects in pre-production. More: The "Daredevil" series originally streamed on Netflix for 3 seasons, from April 2015 through October 2018. "Daredevil" stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio recently reprised their roles in the film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and the Disney+ series "Hawkeye," respectively. It's also considered likely that Cox will return as superhero Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the upcoming Disney+ spin-off series "Echo." The full line-up of Marvel Comics-inspired series that were originally produced for Netflix -- including "Daredevil," "Luke Cage," "Jessica Jones," and others -- have all moved over to Disney+ . IGN

Amazon completed its $8.45 billion acquisition of MGM. The company waited out the regulatory waiting period to complete the transaction, after anti-monopoly groups pressured the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to block the deal. More: European regulators approved the deal earlier this week. MGM's library of classic films -- including "Rocky" and "Legally Blonde" -- will now stream on Prime Video, but the company does not plan to make all MGM content Amazon-exclusive. No word yet on how Amazon plans to integrate members of MGM's management team into the company; currently, Mike Hopkins runs both Amazon Studios and the Prime Video streaming service. DEADLINE

A new Netflix prompt will encourage account holders to pay an additional fee for users outside of their households. The move is part of a larger effort by the streamer to limit unauthorized password sharing. More: Netflix plans to test the new system in three countries to start: Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru. The new system will allow people to easily and discreetly add others to their account, while paying around $3 more per person; the company also plans to test processes allowing for the transfer of user profiles from one account to another. Sharing passwords with individuals who don't live in the same household violates Netflix's terms of service, though the company has never attempted to strongly enforce the rule. VARIETY
