Stream Hardware's July Survey indicates VR headset usage is up 6.67%. If this is correct, people are using their HMDs more than ever. However, given historically stable numbers, it is unlikely the data is reliable. More: - Stream Hardware is the only group publishing VR user data, making it indispensable to industry leaders.
- However, this month's anomalous boost in VR users should give readers pause.
- July's findings notwithstanding, the monthly report has remained steady since March 2020, with user numbers averaging ~2% per month.
- According to UploadVR, the calculation is likely incorrect as there have been no mainstream headset releases, and Meta increased the purchase price of its Quest 2 headsets by $100 across the board.

A message from PERCENT Crypto’s Bad Year The global cryptocurrency market is down over 55%, around $1.20 trillion dollars since the start of the year. Bitcoin, the dominant crypto asset, alone saw a 51% decrease YTD, as other tokens — Ethereum, stablecoins, and the thousands of “altcoins” — followed suit. Yet the money withdrawn from crypto markets is not disappearing into thin air. It is being converted into fiat currency and stored elsewhere, often at a loss. Instead of keeping capital in an account earning low or no interest, private credit investments can offer investors the opportunity to earn high-yield interest over short terms. Find out if this yield-generating asset class can help you earn double-digit returns during the Crypto Winter. Find Out Today | |
