Sen. Mark Kelly has won reelection to a full six-year term in Arizona, keeping the seat in Democratic hands and beating back a challenge from Republican Blake Masters.
Republicans had viewed the seat as a pickup opportunity given the flagging economy and President Joe Biden's low approval rating in the swing state. But now, Kelly's win puts Democrats one seat away from extending their Senate majority for another two years. A win in either of the two seats still up for grabs — Nevada or Georgia, where there will be a runoff race on Dec. 6 — will win the chamber for Democrats.
