| 1 | | Marvel Studios announced new release dates for its upcoming line-up of Disney+ original series. The new schedule is significantly less robust than the one Marvel debuted at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, which promised 5 original series in 2023 alone. More: - Just three Marvel Studios series will now premiere in 2023, instead of five; in addition to the already-complete "Secret Invasion," both "Loki" and "What If...?" return for second seasons this year.
- "Loki" arrives on October 6; "What If...?" Season 2 will debut around Christmas Day.
- "Echo," a spinoff of "Hawkeye" starring Alaqua Cox as an ex-criminal who returns to her Oklahoma hometown, has been pushed to January 2024.
- The animated revival "X-Men '97" -- which continues the story of the '90s Fox "X-Men" series -- was originally slated for Fall 2023, but will now premiere in 2024.
- The "WandaVision" spinoff centered on Kathryn Hahn's character Agatha Harkness has been renamed "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries," and pushed back to Fall 2024.
- Both "Ironheart" and "Daredevil: Born Again" are on hold mid-production due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

| 2 | | Actor Kevin Costner has suggested he will "probably go to court" with producers 101 Studios and Paramount Global over his departure from the Western drama series "Yellowstone." Costner made the remarks while testifying at a court proceeding in Santa Barbara, related to his divorce from Christine Baumgartner. More: - Costner claimed on the stand that he attempted to negotiate a return to "Yellowstone" for Season 6, but "there were issues about creative" and, despite his best efforts, the producers "walked away."
- "Yellowstone" has only recorded the first half of its fifth season to date.
- Costner reportedly wanted to spend just one week shooting the second half of the season, in order to shift his focus to the film "Horizon," which he plans to direct.
- "Yellowstone" producers declined to comment on Costner's remarks; sources told Deadline that, from the perspective of the show's creative team, Costner had made himself "unavailable."
- "Yellowstone" airs on cable's Paramount Network, and is among the most popular broadcast series in the US.

More: - "The Great British Baking Show" -- which streams on Netflix as "The Great British Bake Off" -- returns for a 14th season in the UK later this month.
- Last year's "Mexican Week" episode featured hosts Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas making jokes based on Mexican stereotypes, and also featured mispronunciations of classic ingredients such as "guacamole" and "pico de gallo."
- Previous themes have included "Japan Week" and "German Week."
- In an interview with The Guardian, executive producer Kieran Smith explained "we didn't want to offend anyone but the world has changed and the joke fell flat"; he promises that Season 14 will feature a more traditional line-up of challenges.
