Of the people who list YouTube as their preferred podcast platform, 59% of them are men, while 56% of the people who prefer Apple Podcasts are female, and 51% of those who say they prefer Spotify are male. Relevance: Signal Hill Insights and Westwood One released the Podcast Download – Fall 2023 Report. Spotify is preferred by those between the ages of 18 and 34. Those who are 50 and older prefer Apple podcasts. More data: Weekly podcast consumers associate YouTube with watching podcasts. Two in five weekly podcast consumers don't pay for cable, and 93% of them use streaming services. The study highlighted the fact that podcasts are a great way for advertisers to reach consumers, as 86% of weekly podcast listeners used an ad-free streaming service in the past week at the time of collection. Listeners also prefer to listen to entertaining ads but remember more feature-driven ads. | | |
