Critics argue that forced -- and often unpaid -- labor for prisoners amounts to a new form of slavery. More: Voters in Alabama, Louisiana, Oregon, Tennessee, and Vermont will decide if their states should eliminate exemptions to the constitutional ban on slavery that permit the effective enslavement of prisoners.   Colorado, Nebraska, and Utah have all passed laws banning all forms of slavery during the past five years. BREAKING NEWS: Biden re-tests positive for Covid

President Biden tested positive for Covid-19 late Saturday morning, the White House physician said, and he is not experiencing any symptoms at this time. "The President has no experienced any reemergency of symptoms and is feeling quite well," White House physician Kevin O'Connor wrote in a memo released Saturday. "This being the case, there is no reason to reinitiate treatment at this time, but we will obviously continue close observation." He will now need to isolate for another five days.
