| 1 | | Ausha, the podcast marketing platform, has launched Podcast Search Optimization (PSO) to help boost show searchability. The Ausha PSO Control Panel is a tool that will monitor the listings of shows in different podcast app search results and suggest keywords they may want to rank for to boost the results. More: - Ausha's tool will optimize a podcast's metadata to boost the show's visibility within a podcast platform's search bar.
- According to a study by The Podcast Host, 40% of listeners search for shows directly in the podcast listening app, and 58% will type in a genre and choose a show based on that.
- PSO will help shows drive up the search rankings to make the shows more likely to be seen higher up in searches.
- It will choose keywords associated with a show and help creators understand which ones their show could rank for.
- This will also provide results in real time to help creators track how their SEO adjustments are working.
- PSO will also give a Visibility Score to each show that utilizes it, allowing creators to see how their show ranks initially and provide them with something to work to improve on.
- It will also be able to track shows in multiple countries to see how the search results are landing across the globe.
Q: When you are looking for a new podcast to listen to, do you search in your app for a show by genre, or do you seek specific recommendations elsewhere? Join the conversation here. | | |
