| So... I watched that Netflix movie "Reptile" that I talked about yesterday in this note. It's a weird movie! Benicio del Toro plays a hardened and disillusioned detective working a homicide investigation that makes him feel even more disillusioned, and while he's terrific, the movie is probably too much of a slow burn. I did also like Alicia Silverstone as Del Toro's wife, who's not a cop but still likes hearing about his cases and trying to piece things together for herself, plus Michael Pitt is good as a creepy guy who's among the key suspects. But I don't know, it's really just a pretty standard procedural mystery-drama when all is said and done. Probably would've benefitted from one more pass to make it leaner and faster-paced. But certainly not bad, and probably worth watching just for that BDT performance. He's so good. Lon p/lon-harris | |

| A message from our sponsor, Cord. | | | Noam was stuck. His product was good, but he knew it could be great. He had a vision: - Users collaborating inside his app, in real-time
- Using @mentions to invite their team
- A cutting edge commenting experience, with read receipts, typing indicators, and email notifications
Seat expansion would go through the roof. Engagement would be at an all-time high. And people would rave about the product. He’d make his dent on the universe… if only he could get it on the roadmap. But his team was too focused on the core product to set aside 12 months to make his vision a reality. It was a non-starter. Until he found Cord. He added the chat feature of his dreams to his product in a few lines of code. And you can, too. (This is a true story. The product is monday.com’s Workcanvas. And Noam is a real person.)
