Morning all. Thanks for opening Inside Streaming. Tough morning today as we say goodbye to the great Paul Reubens, better known to the world as iconic comedy character and kids show host Pee-wee Herman. If you're looking to stream some highlights, the original HBO special "The Pee-wee Herman Show" (basically an adult take on what would become "Pee-wee's Playhouse") is free on YouTube, while his 1985 film "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" (the feature debut of director Tim Burton!) is available to rent on all the big VOD platforms. I'd also recommend the underrated 1999 superhero parody "Mystery Men," in which Reubens portrays The Spleen; it's streaming on Peacock. Lon p/lon-harris | |
