1 Swiss startup Viso raised a $9.2M seed funding round led by Accel with participation from several angel investors. Viso offers a no-code computer vision platform that simplifies building and deploying vision-based enterprise applications without technical expertise. According to a KPMG survey, business leaders in the physical retail industry — one of the industries where visual AI has numerous applications — believe AO will have its biggest impact on customer intelligence, inventory management, and chatbots for customer service.

2 Glide announced the beta of SQL data sources, enabling users to connect Glide to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Google Cloud SQL databases to build apps and workflows. The upcoming Glide Next event on Nov. 2 will focus on the SQL beta to demonstrate how users can grant access to entire SQL tables, write custom SQL queries to pull data, and extend their SQL data with columns and Glide AI.

3 Webflow now allows users to turn off indexing on a page directly from the page settings to improve the SEO performance of their websites. Additionally, Webflow expanded the support for right-clicking elements in the Navigator panel to move, wrap, or style elements without leaving the Navigator.

4 As part of its October update, Framer made over 30 improvements and fixes, including the addition of the ability to copy and paste Effects via the Property Panel, drag and drop videos directly onto the Canvas, and a new split input control for RGB and HSL in the Color Picker. Additionally, Framer made improvements to Page Switching, the Quick Actions Menu, the File section in the Main Menu, and more.

5 Zapier enhanced Zap monitoring capabilities, allowing users to review a Zap's details directly within the editor instead of switching between the Zap editor and Zap history. Users can access the new Zap runs section by opening the Zap in the editor and expanding the left sidebar to access information on recent runs, including their status.

6 MagicPod, a Japan-based no-code test automation platform for web and mobile apps, launched version 1.0 with support for Flutter apps. The launch is part of the company's strategy to take its platform, which has primarily served the Japanese market, including clients like Line, to a broader international audience.

7 Baseless, a user-friendly no-code platform for building responsive applications using building blocks, launched recently on ProductHunt. According to its maker, Shoaib Ahmed, the standout feature of the platform is its seamless integration with Google Sheets, which enables users to build functional apps using their data with just a couple of clicks.
